OME places great importance on community service, by organizing several key events that include conferences, lectures and symposia presented by academics, journalists, activists, and citizen journalists, with different cultural, intellectual, and political backgrounds and ideas.
These events are considered essential tools to promote freedom of expression, and make up part of OME’s vision that aims to raise awareness and disseminate knowledge among all segments of society about freedom of expression.
